Park Yearbook

Dear 4th - 8th Grade Parents/Guardians,

The yearbook staff is seeking your help to collect photos for the yearbook this year. We know that the yearbook will look different with Distance Learning being in full effect, but we want to embrace what is now and take the time to remember such an unprecedented time in your child's life.

Please help by taking photos of your child during Distance Learning and submit them for the yearbook. Attached, please find flyers in English, Spanish and Chinese that explain where to go to upload these photos for the yearbook.

We are looking for:

1) Photos of your child on Zoom. Please ask them to look up at the camera before snapping the photo.

2) Photos of your child working on an assignment or project. Again, please have your child look up before taking the photo. We want faces in the yearbook, not the backs of heads. :)

3) Photos of your child at "Recess" and "Lunch." We know Distance Learning looks very different from a regular school year, but we want to see how students spend their recess and lunch. Maybe they are playing video games, reading a book, watching TV, doing chores, or just simply eating lunch at home instead of in the cafeteria. Don't forget to snap them with a smile.

4) Photos of special occasions. Please feel free to send them for the yearbook this year. Examples: Students in Halloween costumes or Dia De Los Muertos outfits. Thanksgiving at the table this year etc.

5) Photos of School Drive By Pick Up events. Take selfies in the car at the school when you pick up supplies or attend the upcoming drive by PTA events.

If you have any photos of your child that you have already taken this school year, feel free to upload them as well. We can never have too many photos for the yearbook.

I want to thank everyone for all their hard work during this crazy difficult time. We appreciate all you do.

Feel free to email me directly with any questions at [email protected].

Thank you,

Ms. Santos
